Mr. Trouble

When we were little, my brother and I had a series of books by Roger Hangreaves called the "Mr. Men" series. I hadn't seen them for years and lately they have been popping up all over the place. There is even a show now called the "Mr. Men Show" with the same little characters. They were basically little brightly colored shapes with arms and legs and hats. They had character trait names--Mr. Happy, Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Tall, Mr. Bump, etc.

But today's story, it's about my very own Mr. Trouble.

It all started with Faith in my office doing her homework and Ben in the family room watching a show. It's better for Faith if Ben isn't helping with her homework, so if he isn't napping, he usually watched an episode of Mickey Mouse.

We were working and my mom came in and asked where Ben was. I said he was watching tv and she said she hadn't seen him. Well, if you know Ben, quiet out-of-sight Ben is not a good thing. So I went looking for him.

This is what I found:

Yes, he found the Easter baskets, opened the eggs and decided to have some candy.

This is the evidence:

Note the sheer number of colors of wrappers? I'm scared to guess how many chocolates he ate at once.

He's lucky he is cute. And that he didn't get chocolate on the carpet.
