It's official, my little man is now 5!
His actual birthday is August 8th, so we spent a family day at home, celebrating our boy. This worked well as he mostly wanted to play with all his cool new toys.
He did decide that we should have dinner at Chili's (his favorite), then we came home to share a fishie cake with him!
That said, I think there is only possible picture to sum up the whole Ben birthday experience! It's all contained in the title of just one book from my mom.

He got lots of awesome gifts--the much coveted Imaginext Joker House from my aunt & uncle, a Matchbox Octopus set from Faith, Legos and assorted building sets from us, the Imaginext Robot Police sets from my parents and Imaginext Space & Castle pieces from my mom's best friend. We had celebrated his birthday a bit early in Canada where he got more awesome Legos from my brother & SIL.
