Books, books, and more books!

As a general rule, I am not a deal blogger. Or a coupon blogger. And I don't play one on tv. I do enjoy a good deal as much as the next person, but I'm not a must-get-a-coupon and 50 tubes of toothpaste because they are a dime person.

However, I do love all the daily deal sites, because sometimes, sometimes, you find a gem. This week's gem was courtesy of Living Social and BookCloseouts.com, with $30 of books for $15. Cheap books? Sign us up!

The real Book Closeouts store is located back in the Niagara region where I grew up and I've been to their retail store (Book Depot) many times. I've also ordered from them online and been quite happy with the result, so was more than OK with buying this one.

So we bought a certificate, bought books, and now we are stalking the mailman.

What did we get? Books for F&B of course:
The Mysterious Benedict Society (books 1, 2, & 3)
Peter & the Star Catchers (books 1, 2, & 3)
and the Lunch Lady series (books 4, 5, & 6).

I think I may need to buy one more certificate before the sale ends. ;o)
