Christmas Shopping with the Disney Princesses #DisneyPrincessWMT

Now that Miss Faith is 10, I'm really beginning to miss our princess days.  She's still up for a good Disney movie, and Disneyland this past summer was a huge hit, but the days of the Disney Princess costumes, toys, and, well, everything?  Those seem to have passed.

4 year old Princess Faith at Disney on Ice

Thankfully, we still do enjoy taking a peek at the princess aisles and we do have some little girls in our lives that we can shop for too.  Birthday party for the daughter of one of my husband's coworkers?  Princess gift.  Christmas gift for my mom's little neighbor?  Princess gift.  Donation to Toys for Tots? Princess gift.  And Faith still enjoys shopping with me for them too.

This week, we headed out to Walmart, armed with my trusty iPhone 5 (yay!) and the Royal Ball Augmented Reality app.  We tried out the app at home, made outfits and carriages first, then headed to Walmart.  Ours, unfortunately, did not have all the signage necessary to add on to our app, or there was a wee bit of user error on my part (might have been a bit of both).  I do love the concept though, it would have totally entertained toddler Faith while I shopped.

Princess choices galore! We got the Transforming Coach on the upper right.

We headed to the larger of the two nearby Walmart stores and were rewarded with a plethora of Princess items.  It's not just toys either!  There's clothes, bedding, kitchen goodies, and more.  Check out our whole shopping adventure on Google+.

Cinderella the movie is also out of the vault right now, available on a DVD/BluRay combo. We found some amazing ideas, including the Ultimate Dream Castle.  It's huge, perfect for a little princess to set up an impressive game.

My shopping partner-in-crime

My current favorite, though, is the Little People Princess Castle.  I'm trying to find a reason to justify buying it for me!  We did add one of those to our cart, for a special little friend of ours.  Faith also decided on the Magic Transforming Carriage as another one of our picks this trip.

Faith and I kind of want to keep this for ourselves,
even though neither of us is 1 1/2 to 5 years old

Our third planned pick, and Faith's favorite, was the MagiClip Castle.  Unfortunately, it was not in stock at the Walmart we chose.  However, customer service came through and we can pick one up at another of our local stores.  I love when the associates go above and beyond to help you.
I can't wait to pick this up, I think it's awesome!

Next up, we need to pick up our MagiClip Castle and do some very special wrapping, but that's another post.  Miss Faith has offered to help with that part too, so I'm looking forward to hearing her wrapping ideas.
