Last spring, we bought a membership to the Dallas Zoo and have not really taken advantage of it since. Assorted things arose--too hot, too cold, too rainy, sick kids, everytime we planned to go. But with it expiring soon, we wanted to get in at least one more trip so we at least got our money's worth.
Since it's Spring Break and Shaun is off, we headed out in the late morning to enjoy a family day. We actually walked the entire zoo, including Ben who insisted on no stroller and was thus forced to walk it all on his own two feet. Since Faith hiked all over St. Petersburg, Russia with us at 3 and a half years old, Ben is certainly more than capable of walking at the zoo. He didn't quite agree by the end of the day.
