Field Trip to the Aquarium {Dallas World Aquarium, Dallas}

More reasons I am loving homeschooling--

Weekday, midday field trips when places are quiet!!!

Thursday afternoon was our field trip to the Dallas World Aquarium. This is seriously one of my favorite places to visit in Dallas, but it is so expensive. However, our homeschool group got tickets for significantly less than normal, so the four of us went for just over the normal price of one adult ticket.

The kids had a blast, we didn't do anything special curriculum-wise, just enjoyed the aquarium. Faith really liked the one little bird that landed by her and let her pet him, Ben liked the sharks and "Baby Jaguar". Me? I'm still fond of manatees, so I could watch him or her all day!

More inside, but from a lower part of the rainforest.

F&B petting a very calm bird that landed right by them in the rainforest

My favorite manatee! I wish the picture was better, but I don't know how to shoot off the glass.
