Cool Gifts for Christmas at Best Buy Gift Center #OneBuyForAll

Do you have that hard to shop for person on your list this Christmas?  By any chance is it one of the male members of your family?  I'm convinced that guys are the hardest people to shop for.  If they are anything like my husband, my dad or my brother, they've already bought what they want and it's up to you to figure out what they don't already own.  So Faith and Ben and I went out searching for the best tech gifts we could find!

This is where Best Buy came in.  I know everyone loves online shopping, but I love going to the store. I want to see the items, see the displays, take advantage of the fact that similar items are grouped together and borrow the knowledge of the store associates as they are much better versed in their products than I am.  But, before you think I'm completely adversed to the online appeal, I made sure to check out Best Buy's trending items on their website before we left the house.

With some help from my husband and his colleagues (for those who don't know, he's in the Army), I've compiled the big wish gift guide from the man in your life:

Devices:

• Ipad Mini - This is high on the list for most of the guys.  It's a tablet, it's smaller, it's portable, and the app store has tons of options to add on to it (you can grab Apple iTunes cards at Best Buy too!).
• XBox One -  Microsoft's new gaming system, it's been released fairly recently and is one of the coveted, and hard-to-find, items I was recommended.
• Playstation 4 - Keep in mind, my sources are young soldiers.  They also really want Sony's new PS4.  It's another hard-to-find one, so keep checking your Best Buy for shipments.

Accessories:

• Beats by Dre Headphones - This is a huge favorite of the younger soldiers for gaming time.  Since they all share a lot of common areas, good headphones are a plus.
• Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Wireless Mouse (Bluetooth) - This was my husband's pick and one of my purchases today.  He specifically wanted a wireless mouse with bluetooth and not a piece that plugged into the USB port on his laptop.
• Toshiba Canvio 3.0 Plus Portable Hard Drive - Another pick from my husband, I actually just bought him one because we needed a spare for him and a spare for me.
• Garmin Forerunner 210 with Heart Rate Monitor - I polled army guys for help with my gift guide.  A good heart monitor is pretty much a necessity for them, but it's an awesome gift for any athlete in your life.  

Media:

• The Wolverine on DVD or BluRay - It's X-Men, on the big screen, what more could a guy want in a movie?
• Call of Duty Ghosts - This one is a huge hit with the husband's colleagues, and it's available on pretty much any platform you could ask for.
• Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag - My husband suggested this one.  He loves the Assassin's Creed series and this is the latest installment.
• Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City - These are slightly older games suggested by several of my husband's colleagues.  There's a newer version coming out next year, so now's the time to play the first installments!

Still not sure exactly what to buy?  There's always a Best Buy gift card (which my sources tell me is also a hit with the guys).  This year, Best Buy is also rewarding the gift giver! From December 11-24th, every time a customer purchases a $25 or more Best Buy gift card, in-store or online, they can scan/enter their gift card number to enter for a chance to win one of the daily prizes. Customers can enter via the Best Buy app by scanning their card or by going to Best Buy's website and entering their card number.

Best Buy is also partnering with Google on December 17th for Google+ “Shoppable Hangout”!  This broadcast hangout will feature a host and 10-12 participants, all talking about and helping you with last minute shopping.
