When we lived back in Texas, one of our favorite things to do each fall was take F&B to the pumpkin patch. It's sort of fallen by the wayside since we moved to Colorado and the kids have gotten older, but I've really missed it.
This year, we received an invitation to check out the Fall Festival at Wishing Star Farm out in Calhan and we can't wait to visit. Pony rides, hay rides, duck races, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, corn bins, it's pretty much everything I want for fall!
The foundation of their Fall Festival is celebrating the harvest, a medley of bright colors and distinctive flavors that epitomize fall. One of the most unique experiences offered as an agricultural entertainment facility is the opportunity to see and pick pumpkins right out of the field. Wishing Star Farm believes this is an important educational experience for children especially.
Everyone is invited to take some of the fall harvest home with them. Pumpkins $4 each, purchase your pumpkin ticket with your admission. Click here for a coupon for $1 off your admission.
