Paper Towns of Memories Scrapbooking

Besides the fun of a great new movie to watch, this weekend we had the chance to have a Paper Towns themed scrapbooking evening with friends.

I have always loved paper crafting, but I don't do it as often as I used to.  When we lived in Texas, my friends and I got together a couple of times a month to craft and chat and snack.  Since moving to Colorado and now Washington, I still make things, but I really want to do more of it.

Fox Home Insiders sent an amazing scrapbook package, perfect for a Paper Towns party.  It featured travel themed embellishments, paper in gorgeous colors, sharpies, an album, glitter glue, decorative scissors and much more.

Faith wanted to help with my project, so we decided that the only proper Paper Towns theme is road tripping.  We've done a lot of it this year, so we started with a rough outline, then decided that we'd make a page or two pages for each of our trips this year--Grand Teton & Taos so far, hoping to add in Vancouver and California before the end of the year.  If that works, we'll go back and add in prior trips.

Have you seen Paper Towns yet?  It's the new movie, based on the novel of the same title by John Green. Paper Towns centers on Quentin, a high school senior who has been in love with his enigmatic neighbor Margo since childhood. After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears--leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher.

We're actually giving away a copy right now.  Head over to this post to enter for your chance to win.

Disclosure: The information in this post, scrapbooking goodies,  and a copy of Paper Towns were provided to me as part of my relationship with Fox Home Entertainment Insiders. All opinions expressed are my own.
