Kung Fu Partying with Kung Fu Panda 3

How do you Kung Fu Panda party?

We were so excited to get a chance to host a family movie night, especially with a movie none of us had seen!  With sleepovers and friends, it seems like someone has seen almost everything, but we were saving Kung Fu Panda 3 for a family night.  Once both kids were home from summer camp, we planned an evening with good food and no company for a family fun night.

Thanks to our friends at Fox Home Entertainment Insiders, we were set to party with stuffed pandas to cuddle, adorable black and white bamboo placemats and new chopsticks, ideas for dim sum, and more.  Both kids loved the new stuffed pandas and brought their Pos down to join in movie time.  The baby/kid pandas in the movie are just too cute.

Since we had a freezer full of lumpia, we decide that it would be our perfect movie night snack.  I'm not entirely sure why we put the chopsticks out, since lumpia is eaten with your hands, but they did make for a pretty picture.  We'll definitely use them for fried rice bowls instead.

Ben also discovered that there was an origami project in the movie box.  He's obsessed with origami, so he had to fold his own panda too.  It has the same cute baby panda face!

Have you seen Kung Fu Panda 3?  If you haven't, you really need to!  It's a great continuation of the story.
After reuniting with his long-lost father, Po travels to a secret village and meets tons of hilarious new panda friends and family members. But when the supernatural villain Kai challenges all the Kung Fu masters across China, Po must discover the teacher within himself and train his clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!

Besides Ben's favorite origami panda, we also printed some of our favorite sheets from Fox to use during our movie night.  Click the links below if you'd like to download them.
