We absolutely love living in Colorado Springs, especially for all the outdoor options nearby. From skiing all winter long, to rafting, hiking, and climbing in the summer, it's been a perfect fit for our family.
This summer, we were so excited to find out that Avid4Adventure has expanded their camp offerings to Colorado Springs! Ben loves the outdoors and a camp that focuses on those kind of activities is just perfect for him. He's done a few things at Boy Scouts and wants to hone his abilities, and he loves getting the chance to try new skills out.
Each day has a different theme--hiking, mountain biking, paddling sports, and climbing, all of which are taught by expert outdoor instructors. Campers are grouped by age and presented with challenges that meet their abilities. Everyone from beginners to experts are welcome to participate with each camper deepening their skills by the end of the week. It's a great chance for kids to grow their skills year to year, along with trying out new things in a safe environment, while they build confidence in their abilities.
Avid4Adventure's mission is to get kids excited and empowered by outdoor adventure, so they stay active for the rest of their lives. Colorado Springs is, in our opinion, an awesome location to enjoy the outdoors and we are thrilled that Avid4Adventure has expanded here. They have plans to expand yearly to new locations too, but we're definitely glad they picked Colorado Springs for this year.
Would your child love the chance to learn great outdoor skills? Or would you love to get them into the outdoors (and away from screens)? Check out the different offerings Avid4Adventure camps has here in the Springs, or in other Colorado locations, including Boulder, Castle Rock, Denver, Golden, Highlands Ranch, and Lafayette! There's the perfect option for every kid!
If you're thinking of signing up for camp, my readers receive a $15 on day camp with code SOCCERMOM!
Disclosure: We are excited to be partnering with Avid4Adventure camps this year to share their newest offerings in Colorado Springs. We will be receiving a free session of camp so we can share more about the program this summer.
