The boy's third year at British Soccer camp was a complete success.
In Washington, he attend twice for full-day sessions. Here in Colorado, the full-day sessions were a bit far, but we discovered they had a half-day *evening* session right in our neighborhood! This was perfect for our non-morning family!
As with the last two years, the boy loved soccer camp. The coaches come over from the UK to teach the camps each summer and are roughly college age or very early 20s, so they're full of energy and great with the kids.
Each camp focuses on increasing skills for the different age groups, from the littlest brand new soccer players to higher training for middle and high school players. There are even camps specifically for goal keepers! Each day features a fun "World Cup" challenge--all campers are assigned to a country and can win points for their team. Past challenges have been to draw a flag or their country, learn facts about their country, even decorating their soccer balls.
