A Rumbly in Your Tumbly Honey Recipe for The Christopher Robin Movie

After a super crazy summer, I somehow managed to miss Disney's Christopher Robin at the movie theater.

Thankfully, it is almost about to be released on both digital and Blu-ray, and I will be buying it for a family movie night!  Come November 6th, you'll find me snuggled up on my couch with a blanket, enjoying Pooh and his friends and some yummy honey snacks too.

Our plan?  Grilled fruit kebabs with a honey-lime yogurt dip.  I absolutely love fruit on the grill, and this dip sounds like the perfect pairing for it.

Want to make your own?  Check out the recipe below.

Grilled Fruit Kebabs with Honey Lime Yogurt Dip Ingredients

2 lbs assorted fruit (strawberries, pineapple, mango, kiwi, peach, nectarine, plum)
8 metal or bamboo skewers

1 cup plain yogurt
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp grated lime zest

Instructions for Fruit Skewers:
Heat grill to medium-high, making sure grate is clean
Thread chunks of washed, peeled or seeded fruit onto skewers. If using bamboo skewers, soak in water for 10 minutes to minimize chances of burning.
Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, turning carefully so fruit does not fall off of skewers
Remove from heat and serve with dip

Note: The best fruits are ones with firm flesh such as stone fruits or pineapple. Stay away from melons as they tend to soften too much.

Instructions for Honey Lime Yogurt Dip:
Combine yogurt, honey and lime zest and stir until well blended.
Keep chilled until serving time.

I think this sounds like the perfect treat for our movie night, or really any evening.  I'm looking forward to putting on the grill and trying these out, but the dip might get made a little bit sooner.  We definitely need to sample it!
