Imagine a beach or sandbox you could play in all year long, but in Colorado weather!
That's the idea behind Kids Dig, Colorado's largest indoor sandbox. We were very excited to get the chance to learn more about this great play place and our awesome little friends (ages 3, 5, and 7) were happy to help us test it out.
Located in Littleton, in the southwestern part of Denver, the Kids Dig features over 40 tons of sand in an 825 soft sand box to play in. The sandbox is full of Tonka trucks, lifters, diggers, and more, to allow little construction workers to play till their heart's content.
Our little friends had a blast too, the oldest said, "This is amazing, it’s like a beach without the water!"

Kids Dig offers many options for play--a picnic area for brown bag lunch and playdates, birthday party rooms, a carpeted play area for very young children, even wifi for the parents. Repeat play passes are available at special pricing as well. The sandbox is limited to children under age 8 for safe playing, though parents may be able to join if space allows.

The overall experience was great, including a very friendly staff. There’s enough sand toys for at least 15-20 kids to pay in the pit at once without someone fighting over something.
They also have 3 party rooms total for birthday parties. Depending on the room, it can accommodate up to 22 kids.
They even gave the kids free construction hats. My kids are having a blast. They’re loving it! I’m scared they won’t leave later.

My youngest daughter would love this. She is the only kid I could take. The other two may be jealous.
