Camp Warner Brothers, Here We Come! #campwarnerbros

It's going to be a different kind of summer this year.  We actually had most of our summer planned out in January and February ... and then March hit and everything changed.

All but one camp the kids were planning on have been cancelled and I'm even a little iffy on what will constitute a safe family vacation.  So instead, we are going to #CampWarnerBros.  It's a special at-home camp project where we get to help bring camp ideas to our readers, with some help from our friends at Warner Brothers!

Each week, we'll be sharing activities, crafts, and snacks along with a different movie so you can have some fun and enjoy a new-to-you show with your kids. We're really excited because we haven't seen any of the titles that were chosen this year!

We just received our welcome pack and had a blast tie-dying our camp shirts this weekend.  It's been awhile since we have tie-dyed anything and I forgot how much fun it is.  The kids researched their favorite patterns to try, and we have both swirls and skittle pops on the different shirts.  (Since we were already tie-dying, they opted to make a few spare shirts too.)

For next week, we will be sharing Super Hero Training, along with the movie LEGO DC Shazam! Magic and Monsters.  I haven't seen any version of Shazam! since I was a kid, so I'm looking forward to watching this one too.

Make sure to join us each week for a different activity and movie!  Check out the schedule below for all the details:
  • Week 1 (June 22) Activity: Super Hero Training / LEGO DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters
  • Week 2 (June 29) Activity: DIY Crystal Gems / Steven Universe: The Movie
  • Week 3 (July 6) Activity: Gummy Bear Slime / We Bare Bears: The Movie
  • Week 4 (July 13) Activity: Cooking & Coloring / Scooby-Doo and the WrestleMania Mystery
  • Week 5 (July 20) Activity: Character Bank / Teen Titan’s Go! vs Teen Titans
  • Week 6 (July 27) Activity: Summer Goals Chart & Family Fitness / Alex and Me
  • Week 7 (August 3) Activity: “Drive-In” Movie / Tom & Jerry: The Fast and the Furry
  • Week 8 (August 10) Activity: Talent Show – Do The Urkel / Family Matters: S1

We hope you'll come check out each week of movies and crafts with us, and find some great ideas to help your kids try to have the best summer they can.  It may be a little bit different than normal, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun!
