A Possum Tale, or everything I never wanted to know about possum

This is a possum. Now, I do not know a whole lot about possums, nor do I care to, though I have discovered a few things. They are rodent-ish like creatures, with creepy stares, icky tails, and weird claws. I do not want to find one in my yard. They are frequently found run over on the side of the road. My dad was bit by one when he opted to pick it up, by the tail to extract it and its babies from his shed. This was more than enough for me to know about possums. However, on our road trip home from Canada, I learned one other fun fact about possums while in Tennessee. We left Nashville in the morning and headed west towards Jackson. Make Easy Girl Scout Cookie Booth Banners

Half banner, we opted to double it to fit our table! Faith and I love crafting for our Girl Scout Cookie booths and this banner is no exception! In the past, we have made displays, bookmarks, even crowns for our booths, and this banner was a perfect addition that can be saved from year to year. What You Need: Girl Scout cookie boxes, at least one of each kind you sell Paper cutter or good scissors Ruler Pencil/pen Paper piercer Brads How to Make a Girl Scout Cookie Banner: Carefully pull each box apart on the seams and flatten. Cut off the tops and sides, saving the front and back of the boxes. I used the industrial paper cutter we have at work, it was much easier to deal with cardboard that way! On the back (non-printed) sides of your box, measure the width and mark the bottom center point with a dot. Measure up each side 1-2 inches (your choice) and mark those with dots as well. Recycled Art - Soda Bottle Jellyfish

Faith and I got a cool book in the mail the other day to review for MomTrends (a site I sometimes write for). It's about making art from recycled materials, so we can't wait to try it. As well, this month's Family Fun magazine has a pretty cool cardboard dollhouse with egg carton furniture that we also want to try. But until we get on those two projects, we've got another one to share, thanks to her Brownie leaders. It's a soda bottle jellyfish, all out of recycled or scrap materials. To make Mr. Jellyfish, you'll need an empty/rinsed 2 liter soda bottle, leftover birthday ribbons and some scrap cardstock. You'll also need a good sharp pocket knife to cut the bottle and a hole puncher. For the body, cut the end of the bottle off, sand if needed to remove any sharp edges. Punch holes around the edges, then slip knot colored ribbon through each hole. Make eyes out of cardstock (we used my scrapbook tools for this) and adhere to the body. Vo...
